After a major reduction sale in 2004, our cattle are based on roughly 5 family lines:-

Rombalds Joy

A radar daughter and a good old foundation cow. Produced Rombalds Pedro, sold to Roberts Adams in 2001. Many females retained in the herd.

Rombalds Orchid

A Ronick Hawk daughter out of Drysgol Handful. Maternal sister to Rombalds Rebel sold to Norman Limousins as Overall Reserve Champion 2002 for £10,000. Two daughters retained in the herd.

Rombalds Sally

An embryo daughter of Newsham Judy, sired by dauphin. Judy was sold in the reduction sale in 2004 with a full sister selling to Smiths of Bloxham. Sally’s first bull Rombalds Alphonso gained first prize and sold in Carlisle Oct 2006 for £5000. One female heifer in the herd but watch out for Rombalds Ceaser, a Grahams Samson son coming out next year!

Rombalds Solo

A Greensons Gigalo daughter out of Rachels Melody sold to Smiths of Bloxham in 2004. Full sister to Rombalds Rapier – sold to Middledale Limousins in 2002 for £9,500.

Rombalds Tiffany

Another Greensons Gigalo daughter. Her first bull Rombalds Alfie gained second prize to Rombalds Alphonso in Carlisle Oct 2006 and sold For £3500. One female daughter in the herd, and a Grahams Samson bull which will be out next year.
