Rombalds Limousins started back in September 1986, with the purchase of  an in-calf cow, Broadmeadows Roberta and a maiden heifer, Winbarr Annette at a NE Club Sale at Skipton.

Our first experience of the trusty limousin was when the heifer was unloaded and jumped straight over the fence and ran as fast as possible down the field! Things are much different now – we train all the youngstock with halters as early as possible, and we are well-known for easy to handle, quiet cattle.

Owned and managed by Geoff Rowson and daughter Anne Hirst, the Rombalds herd prides itself on its health status and has been a closed herd since 2000. With health being so important, the herd has achieved many accreditations against disease which you can read on this website.   

The Rombalds herd have had many successful show outings, regularly sell at Carlisle Pedigree sales and many times have customers coming back to say how happy they are with the bulls.
