Rombalds Limousins is a family concern with Geoff & Susan Rowson and Anne Hirst. The family are well known within the North Limousin community. Geoff and Anne are presently on the NELBC committee and Susan is co-opted on for social occasions. Geoff has been Chairman of the NELBC on two occasions and Anne is a society approved judge and has had the honour of judging at a variety of shows including Red Ladies Day at Carlisle 2005.

The aim is to produce quality and not quantity, therefore the majority of our cattle do sell through the Carlisle Society Sales. Our cattle are genuine and have to work, but we try for good conformation and use proven sires through AI to continuously improve our herd. Sires used recently include Opera, Dauphin, Grahams Samson and Samy. We are members of the SAC Health scheme and continually weigh and monitor through Signet.
